Reablement Support Worker

Exciting opportunities have arisen in the DDL Care Hub’s new building based facility in Peebles. We are currently looking to recruit Reablement Support Workers who enjoy working with people and are looking for a good work-life balance.You will be involved in providing support services to adults and older people, assisting them to achieve an optimum level of independence with all aspects of daily living. You must be committed, demonstrate patience and understand the holistic care needs of the client.

The Role

The role of the Reablement Support Worker is to provide support to the clients on a daily basis and to work as part of a team to assist with reablement, respite and replacement care for older people and assist with a range of activities relevant to each individual to ensure we are meeting their own personal goals whilst providing emotional support, companionship and a safe environment.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 4.00pm (hours to be agreed)

Salary

£21,840 pro rata plus workplace pension

Experience and skills

SVQ 3 in Social Services and Health Care – SCQF Level 7 is essential.

The ability to assist with organising activities and undertaking rehab support provided by allied professionals.

You must have the right attitude, commitment, and compassion to work with people.
